It is the philosophy of Sullivan High School that each student is given the opportunity to successfully earn the credits necessary for graduation. If, for whatever reason, the student fails to do so, it is the student’s responsibility to earn those credits on his/her own time and at his/her own expense. Students in need of summer school are to see their counselor for acceptable sites.
Progress Reports/Failure Notices:
Notices to students and parents of the possibility of failure in a course, if corrective measures are not taken, are sent in the 5th, 15th, 25th, and 35th weeks of the school year. In addition, teachers may send failure notices at any time between marking periods to parents of students who need special attention.
